Promoting better wellbeing for those who face mental health challenges: building confidence and skills, connecting with others, and having a positive impact on our community.
Meet our team
We believe positive mental health and wellbeing can best be supported when people are valued as individuals with their own unique life stories and ambitions.
Our team has diverse experience with mental health, and we understand that recovery looks different to everyone. We recognise the importance of supporting individuals to work towards the things that matter to them.
-
Many of our staff have their own lived experience, and recognise that everyone’s recovery journey is different.
-
Volunteers support our activity groups, lead workshops and even oversee our organisation.
-
The committee that oversees Wellbeing Works is made up entirely of volunteers. Our trustees come from a range of backrounds and meet bimonthly to ensure we are meeting our aims.

Volunteers
Volunteers make a huge difference to the work we do, and we really value the contributions they make.
We work with volunteers to develop and deliver our activities and projects, and volunteers help us extend our reach and range of provision through supporting our groups, leading workshops and more.
Trustees
The committee of trustees that oversee Wellbeing Works is made up entirely of volunteers.
Our trustees come from a range of backgrounds and meet regularly to ensure that we have the robust framework of policies, procedures and good practice that we need to deliver our services.
They also ensure we are operating in accordance with our values and aims while maintaining our financial security.
